Organisation of Classes

The children in the school range from 4 to 11 years of age.

The children progress through three stages at Primary School:

Reception: Early Years Foundation Stage

Key Stage 1: Years 1 & 2

Key Stage 2: Years 3 - 6

Classes

There are three classes in the school:

Class 1: Woodpeckers

Reception, Years 1 and 2 (EYFS and KS1)

Age: 4 - 7 years

Class 2: Swallows

Years 3 and 4 (Lower KS2)

Age: 7 - 9 years

Class 3: Red Kites

Years 5 and 6 (Upper KS2)

Age: 9 - 11 years

We have three Houses in the school. When your child joins us, they also join one of our houses Ennis-Hill, Farah and Bannister.
